Counted from October 10, 2026, and only once a gift reaches the foundation's bank account, so a pledge or a gift still in transit shows up a few days later.
$5,000 carries one team's full season: travel, uniforms, and tournament entry. By December 31 we are raising $10,000, enough for two teams.
Counted from October 10, 2026, and only once a gift reaches the foundation's bank account, so a pledge or a gift still in transit shows up a few days later.
A local business has offered to match gifts dollar for dollar, up to $2,500. A $100 gift puts $200 toward the season.
Some families on the team are raising money with their own pages. Every gift through them counts toward the same $10,000.
Gifts made now go to next season. In its first season, the 17U team reached the MADE Hoops Circuit championship game. Players are charged nothing to play. The 2026 season is written up in full, and the impact page shows where the money goes.
Our Giving Tuesday online auction opens November 21 and ends December 1.
Every player can also take our free NIL course: how name, image and likeness deals work, and how that money is taxed. The course is free, and it always will be. Volunteers write it. Donations go to the team. A course sponsor, when one signs on, pays only for printed workbooks and translation, never for the volunteers' time. The teams are not free. That is what Giving Tuesday is for.
One time or monthly, on the donate page. Visa, Mastercard, Amex, and Apple Pay, secured by Stripe. New for 2026: even if you take the standard deduction, cash gifts up to $1,000 ($2,000 married filing jointly) made directly to charities like NYC Honor are deductible. How the deduction without itemizing works, and what counts as a cash gift.
