Everything you need to review NYC Honor Foundation is on this page: who we are, the documents that prove it, what the first season produced, and how we measure the course. If your application asks for something that is not here, we will send it.
Each of these is kept by someone other than us.

A season on the MADE Hoops Circuit, where college coaches watch in person. In 2026 the 17U team reached the circuit's national championship game on July 19 in Baltimore. Three players were named All-MHC, and Anthony Mauro committed to Fairfield University, a Division I program, on September 15.
Every player answers for his grades to stay on the floor. We check them, and a player who is not handling the classroom does not travel. We do not run tutoring in house today, and we would rather tell you that than claim a program we have not built.
The NYC Honor Academy teaches budgeting, NIL contracts, how that income is taxed and what to do with what is left, in six short modules. It is free, open to any player, and comes with a teacher kit so a coach or classroom can run it.
The full results, with independent coverage, are on our impact page and the 2026 season. On September 19 we also ran our first Coaches Clinic at St. Francis Prep in Queens.
Every module starts with an optional three-question warm-up, taken before the lesson. After the lesson, players face three similar calls in the Film Room. We compare the two scores.
The course is aimed at high-school players, so we collect nothing about who they are. Each device sends one score per module, never the answers, never a name, never an IP address. Only the first try counts, so replaying a module cannot raise the number, and an after-score is recorded only when the same device took the warm-up, so both numbers describe the same players. The method is written up in our privacy notice.
Results appear here once at least 20 players have done both halves. We will not publish an average built on fewer.
$5,000 funds one team's full season, free to the family: travel, uniforms, and tournament entry. That is what the founding sponsorship covered for the 17U team in 2026, and it is the unit the foundation raises against.
Next on our list is practice gym time, which we cannot afford today. The course costs the foundation nothing to teach, because it is developed and taught by NYC Honor Foundation volunteers. A course sponsor pays only for printed workbooks and translation.
Our first fiscal year closes December 31, 2026. Until our first Form 990 exists we do not publish an overhead ratio, because we would be estimating it. If your application needs a project budget for the season you would fund, ask and we will send the line items.
Sirmium Capital is the founding sponsor of the 2026 season, funding travel, uniforms and tournament entry. The foundation's treasurer and secretary are affiliated with Sirmium Capital, the 2026 season's founding sponsor. Sponsorships are acknowledged, never compensated with promotion.
Write to us with your program's name and deadline. We will send the IRS determination letter, a signed W-9, the board list, and a project budget for the season you would fund, and we will answer anything else your application asks.
