Elite Athletic Development

A full season on the MADE Hoops Circuit, where college coaches watch in person. That is the exposure a player cannot buy on his own, and it is the single most expensive thing the foundation pays for.

Academics Come First

Every player answers for his grades to stay on the floor. We check them, and a player who is not handling the classroom does not travel. We do not run tutoring or test prep in house today, and we would rather tell you that than claim a program we have not built.

Financial Literacy

The Honor System curriculum covers budgeting, NIL contracts, how that income is taxed, and what to do with what is left. Every athlete in the program gets it at no cost.

Year One

What the 2026 season produced

The foundation was incorporated in the spring of 2026. Everything below happened in the months that followed, and every line can be checked against the circuit's own records or independent coverage.

Final

A national championship game

The 17U team reached the MADE Hoops Circuit championship game on July 19 at the Baltimore Convention Center, beating Jersey Force and then Team Iverson to get there. West Michigan Premier took the title.

Three all-circuit selections

Anthony Mauro was named first team All-MHC. Emmanuel Malok made second team and was named Defensive Player of the Year for the circuit. Austin Workman took honorable mention.

A Division I offer

On August 2, Boston University offered a scholarship to Anthony Mauro, a junior heading into his senior year. He has one season and the last of the financial curriculum still ahead of him.

Use of Funds

Where a donation goes

$5,000 funds one team's full season, free to the family: travel, uniforms, and tournament entry, at no cost to a single player. That is what the founding sponsorship covered for the 17U team in 2026, and it is the unit the foundation raises against — every gift at that level funds the next team's season the same way.

The financial literacy and NIL curriculum is taught to every athlete at no cost to the foundation or the family, by licensed professionals from the founding sponsor. No donated dollar pays for it.

Our first fiscal year closes December 31, 2026, and our first Form 990 is due May 15, 2027. Until that filing exists we are not going to publish a budget breakdown or an overhead ratio, because we would be estimating it. What we can show you today is above, and the documents below.

NYC Honor Foundation was incorporated in 2026. Our IRS determination letter is dated April 16, 2026, and our tax-exempt status is effective March 27, 2026, so contributions made on or after that date are deductible. Our first Form 990 and annual impact report will be published after the close of our first full fiscal year. We would rather show you nothing than show you something we have not done yet.

Sirmium Capital is the founding sponsor of the 2026 season, funding travel, uniforms and tournament entry. Licensed professionals from the firm developed the Honor System financial curriculum and teach it to every athlete at no cost. The foundation's treasurer and secretary are affiliated with Sirmium Capital. Sponsorships are acknowledged, never compensated with promotion.
